Baguio Cathedral
Standing imperiously above Session Road, and reached on foot by a flight of a hundred steep steps, is Baguio Cathedral, an example of "wedding cake gothic" in an eye-catching shade of rose pink. The structure with its twin spires and one hundred steps sits on top of a small hill in the heart of the city, offering churchgoers and visitors a chance to get a bird's eye view of the entire commercial hub. It was opened to the public last November 25, 1990 during the Christ the King celebration. At the St Louis University Silver Shop, just a few paces away from the cathedral, you can watch silver craftsmen at work and buy the jewelry they make. One of the familiar landmarks in Baguio. The southern end of Session Road leads to Magsaysay Drive and the City Market, which sells produce from the Cordilleras such as strawberries, peanut brittle, sweet wine, honey, textiles, handicrafts and jewelry. Baguio Cathedral, allows visitors to watch young silver craftsmen at work. Visitors can also purchase the pieces they like.
